Two young Emiratis have been selected to Join French Elite Universities in September 2019 as part of Total Quai d’Orsay Scholarship Program 2019.
Under Total Foundation "Youth inclusion & Education” action, Total in the UAE is continuing the scholarship program launched in 2001 supporting UAE youth who wish to do their higher studies in France.
In 2018, Total UAE reinforced this initiative by working together with the French Embassy through its Campus France team on a 3 years partnership under the “Total Quai d’Orsay scholarship program”.
Through this initiative, Total aims to encourage youth education in the UAE and contribute to promote the excellence of the French educational system. So far 46 young Emiratis have benefited from this program since its inception and all of them are in leadership roles within various companies based in the UAE.
It has to be noted that over the period of years Total has built its network connecting the best universities in the country like Khalifa University, UAE University, University of Sharjah etc with universities in France of high standards and education value to embark young emirati nationals on their educational and career dreams, a first step towards building the nation’s future.
Speaking about the Total’s Quai d’Orsay Scholarship Program, Mouza Al Dhaheri, Vice President and CSR, Total UAE Services said “Each year we are really inspired by the quality of the students getting selected to pursue their education in the best universities in France. This year, it is all the more encouraging to have our students accepted by Polytechnique and HEC, both very competitive. We are proud to continue this initiative as they are part of our investment to the development of youth to become future asset for the country”
In 2020, we are proud to extend full scholarships to two UAE nationals - Noor FIKREE and Mohamed AL HASHMI, who got accepted in two of the elite French universities: Polytechnique (engineering school) and HEC Paris (business school) Master and MBA’s programs.
