Total in the UAE and Alliance Française UAE opens first of its kind Digital Museum in the Gulf region
In line with Total Foundation’s commitment to foster "Youth Inclusion & Education" and "Cultural Dialogue & Heritage" within the Group's host communities and regions, and in accordance with Alliance Française’s first purpose to promote France abroad, Total in the UAE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alliance Française, Abu Dhabi.
In addition to promoting French language and culture, the partnership officially launched the MICRO-FOLIE ABU DHABI Digital Museum, a first of its kind digital museum in the gulf region, with artworks from eight different French institutes and museums made available to the public for viewing. The digital museum will be open to young school and university students on 25th April 2019.
This partnership is a continued effort from Total in contributing to promote Franco-Emirien culture and relations in the UAE.
Located at Alliance Française headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the digital museum will exhibit the artworks through digital platforms such as tablets and wide screens.
The MOU was signed by Hatem Nuseibeh, President, Total E&P UAE and Total Country Chair in the UAE and Mohamed Beldjoudi, Director, Alliance Française Abu Dhabi in the presence of Mouza Al Dhaheri VP External Communication and CSR and Sultan Alhajji, President of Alliance Française Abu Dhabi.
