News from Morocco: Evlox joins forces with TotalEnergies for the solarization of its Settavex plant

A new journey is underway, as TotalEnergies is proud to announce its first #solarproject in Morocco!

Market leader in denim manufacturing, Evlox has partnered with TotalEnergies for the solarization of their Settavex factory. A rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) installation will take place early 2023.

TotalEnergies and Evlox will develop this project while respecting and promoting local biodiversity.

This partnership between #TotalEnergies and Evlox is another step taken towards consolidating their #zeroemissions objective and is part of Morocco’s energy strategy which aims to promote the development of renewable energies within the country.

This project will not only significantly reduce Evlox’s ecological impact, but the factory’s energy costs as well, which is pivotal in an increasingly competitive sector such as the textile industry!

“We are 100% committed to protecting the environment. Thanks to this agreement, Evlox is now a greener and more socially committed company. This project is part of the company's Evlox Net Zero Emissions by 2050 sustainability plan promoted by the United Nations,” said Jaime Lloréns, CEO of Evlox.
