AlReyada Energy Seminar

70 students from 5 Universities of the UAE (Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates University, School 42, and Zayed University) participated in 4 days dedicated to Climate Change and Energy transition.

Thanks to the three Professors of TPA - Herve Oberreiner, Jean Papee and Christian Gueritte - who shared their knowledge in two courses (Climate change and Energy transition & Developing talents and leadership), the students increased their skills and competences in climate change and management.

The students had also the opportunity to have external interventions from Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (on Abu Dhabi's new regulations in single use plastic) and Dr.Haifa Ben-Romdhane, Professor in Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (on Science and Engineering for the marine environment).

TotalEnergies UAE employees – Ramesh Menon, Shayma Alshehhi, Zahie Anka, Marcus Schrauf and Bassam El Taher dedicated their time through the Action! program to share their professional experience with the students who were inspired by their journey.

To complete their learning on climate change, the students visited Masdar City and MBZ University of Artificial Intelligence, met different experts and students who took them through different projects linked to sustainability and AI.

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi also offered them a visit of their Center for Artificial Intelligence.
