Total Marketing Middle East (TMME) signs MoU with American University of Sharjah (AUS)
Total Marketing Middle East (TMME) based in Dubai (UAE), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with American University of Sharjah (AUS) on February 8th at 2:00 pm. The agreement sets forth a framework for both partners to collaborate in areas of teaching, research, and professional development. The university offers 26 majors and 46 minors at the undergraduate level, and 14 master’s degree programs through the following academic divisions: College of Architecture, Art and Design, College of Arts and Science, College of Engineering and School of Business Administration.
This MoU formalizes and builds on previous cooperation between TMME and AUS that saw six AUS graduates placed within Total Marketing Middle East’s Young Graduates Program AMO in 2014 and 2015. The MoU was signed at AUS by Total Marketing Middle East’s Managing Director, David Kalife and Dr. Björn Kjerfve, Chancellor of AUS, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides including the Provost, Deans of various academic divisions among others. The signing of the MoU was preceded by a brief meeting, to exchange views on possible collaboration in implementation of the MoU.
The MoU will allow both organizations to pursue cooperation in industrial knowledge transfer, research and development to provide a well-rounded curriculum that will enhance the employability of students upon graduation. This will be made possible through seminars and lectures, internships, personalized programs, job opportunities, and international events for both students and faculty.
