Total @ ADIPEC 2017
On Thursday, November 16, 2017, under the theme "Forging Ties and Driving Growth", Total wrapped up its participation in Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) after a successful 4-day presence at the event from November 13th with more than 100,000 visitors and over 2000 companies including IOC’s and NOC’s.
Total had a major participation on a number of ADIPEC conferences including Mr. Patrick Pouyanne, CEO Total, as Global Business Leader speaker and Mr. Jean-Jacques Mosconi as a Global Downstream Business Leader speaker. Total also had 2 panel sessions chairs, 4 Technical sessions speakers, 1 Speaker in Women in Energy session, 1 Offshore Plenary Panel speaker and 1 Security in Energy Speaker.
The Total 2017 stand proved its strong presence once again by demonstrating the latest innovation and technology know-how, namely the winning robot of the ARGOS Challenge, our Quantum project, which replicates our industrial assets into a "digital twin" and the METIS seismic acquisition technology.
The stand also displayed the ALBION PROJECT that delivered advanced concepts and methodologies applied to industrial projects in carbonate fields and the Total Alternative Logging competitive advantage to sustain decline in logging costs.
Another aspect of the stand showcased the Total Group corporate statistics and latest figures also highlighted the local content of Total UAE affiliate Total Abu Al Bukhoosh, Total Marketing Middle East and the Corporate Social Responsibility run by the affiliates in the country.
On the occasion of ADIPEC event, Hatem Nuseibeh, President Total EP UAE and Group Representative in the UAE, said:
“The 2017 edition of ADIPEC is over and I can proudly state that it was a great success for TOTAL. The stand, the projects presented, the technical presentations, the discussions with the visitors, all clearly demonstrated the high quality of what TOTAL represents.
Apart from the VIP visits and the coverage in the local press and TV, I have received many compliments on the stand content and the projects exhibited in it. This was a result hard work and dedication of the TOTAL employees across affiliates to make this event a success.
This by itself is a challenge as we have to build on this momentum to present pilots or studies on operated fields in the UAE, so that we can come back next year with more stories to tell.”
